Welcome to Monster Meetings (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our online meeting platform and related software-as-a-service offerings (collectively, the “Service”), available via our website monstermeetings.com and associated applications.

By registering an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1 The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.
2.2 You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.
2.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Description of Service

​

3.1 We provide a subscription-based online meeting and collaboration platform, allowing users to host, join, and manage meetings, screen sharing, and related digital tools.
3.2 The Service is provided via a recurring subscription plan as outlined on our pricing page.

 

4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Renewals

 

4.1 Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select.
4.2 Payment is processed securely via Paddle payment service.
4.3 By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method at the beginning of each billing period.
4.4 Unless canceled, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price.
4.5 You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. The cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
4.6 Refunds are only provided when required by law (e.g., withdrawal within the EU 14-day right of withdrawal period for new subscriptions, see Section 5).

5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

​

5.1 If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription purchase.
5.2 However, if you access or begin using the Service before the end of the 14-day period, you acknowledge and agree that you waive your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed (as per EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)).
5.3 To exercise your withdrawal right, you must contact us at support@monstermeetings.com with a clear statement (e.g., email) within the 14-day period.
5.4 Upon valid withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you within 60 days, using the same payment method originally used.

6. Acceptable Use

​

6.1 You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that could damage or impair our systems.
6.2 Specifically, you must not:

• Transmit harmful, illegal, or infringing content during meetings

• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or its data

• Reproduce, resell, or distribute the Service without written permission

6.3 We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. Data Protection and Privacy (GDPR)

​

7.1 We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.
7.2 Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and store personal data.
7.3 We act as a data controller for account and billing data, and as a data processor for meeting-related data hosted on behalf of users.
7.4 You retain ownership of all content and data transmitted through the Service.
7.5 We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security, confidentiality, and integrity.
7.6 You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting support@monstermeetings.com

8. Service Availability and Modifications

​

8.1 We aim to provide continuous access but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
8.2 We may update or modify features from time to time to improve performance or security.
8.3 If we make material changes that affect your subscription, we will provide reasonable prior notice by email or in-app notification.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

​

9.1 All software, content, trademarks, and design elements of the Service are owned or licensed by Monster Meetings Oy.
9.2 You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your active subscription.
9.3 You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or modify any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

​

10.1 The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
10.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monster Meetings Oy shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;

• Data loss, service interruptions, or system failures;

• Any amount exceeding the total fees paid by you in the preceding six (6) months

 

11. Termination

11.1 You may terminate your account at any time via your dashboard or by contacting support.
11.2 We may terminate or suspend your access for:

• Non-payment;

• Violation of these Terms;

• Fraudulent or illegal activity.

11.3 Upon termination, your access will end, and data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.

 

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

12.1 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Finland and applicable EU law.
12.2 If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.
12.3 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Helsinki, Finland, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law.

 

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
